Douglas Moors (°Leuven, 1973) has had a passion for photography since his early childhood. Growing up in a house full of music, he learned to watch, listen and admire. His father's advertising agency also brought him into contact with conceptual work. It was therefore quite logical that he went to study photography at the LUCA School of Art – Narafi. He then joined top photographers in Brussels, Zurich, London and Ghent before developing his very successful career in commercial photography.

His passion for images also encourages him to spend a lot of time on personal work, in different styles, both inside and outside the studio.

His gut feeling and creativity steer his images. In contrast to conceptual photography, in which the images are staged, here he consciously explores capturing things as they are while at the same time giving them a very own style with flat area management, light, context and composition.
